Led by Dr. Loice Natukunda, the Executive run the 2020/2021 day-to-day activities of the network including; 

• Coordinating virtual topical discussions and other training events towards research capacity building,
• Fund raising for NEMRA activities
• Mobilising collaboration with individuals and institutions
• Coordinating the NEMRA mentorship programme
• Mobilising research, funding for research and research project teams
• Managing NEMRA membership and registration
• Maintaining the NEMRA Secretariat. Among others.
