I am a medical anthropologist at the department of Sociology and anthropology,
Makerere University. I am a specialist in qualitative research. Area of focus: adolescent sexual and reproductive health, Sexual and gender based violence, maternal health HIV/AIDS, Family planning, poverty, gender and health, health sector analysis, WASH, community participatory studies, AMR, Neglected tropical diseases.
I initiated and conducted social and behavioural research on young people, SRHR, Malaria and pregnancy, AMR, NTDs, Gene Drive, HIV, gender and health, and community participatory studies. She is an expert in qualitative research approaches. She is the current Chair of Makerere University School of Social Sciences Research Ethics Committee. I am also interested in international network building and Chairperson Board of Directors for the Network for Education and Multidisciplinary Research Africa (NEMRA).
