How do we run business?

The network has a Secretariat working with 5 committees.

These include:-

  • Research training & mentoring committee – to coordinate research training events and mentorship programmes for the members
  • Research projects & publications committee – to coordinate initiation of research projects and teams to carry out and publish the network’s research

  • Events management committeeto schedule and manage events as proposed by the various committees
  • Mobilization and advocacy committeeto market NEMRA and engage appropriate stakeholders for funding and uptake of the network’s research outputs
  • Finance committeeto manage the network’s financial income and expenditure. Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) currently steers the activities of the network until September 2019. Committees comprise of volunteers from across member institutions.
